Ky standard evropian specifikon klasifikimin cilësor dhe emërtimin e klasave për drurin e rumbullakët të prerë të plepit në formë trungjesh ose shtyllash. Klasifikimi përshkruan klasat e cilësisë të drurit të rumbullakët për të cilët nuk dihet për se do të përdoren. Klasifikimi është i aplikueshëm për të gjitha klonet e plepit në treg.

This European Standard specifies a qualitative classification and grade designations for felled round timber of poplar in the form of long poles or logs. The classifications describe quality classes of round timbers for which the intended use is not known. This classification is applicable to all merchantable clones of poplar.
