Scope Anglisht

This standard specifies the essential safety requirements applicable to the design and construction of blade granulators used for plastic and rubber. The machine begins with the outer edge of the feed opening or feeding device if it is an integral part of the machine and ends with the discharge area. Significant hazards are listed in clause 4, specific requirements and/or measures applicable to blade granulators are listed in clause 5. This standard applies primarily to machines which are manufactured after the date of publication of this standard.
